I am currently done with almost all of my research. I still need to interview and gather more more pictures and set up my website. My library will discuss the history of the La Retama Library, why it was created and what it took to create it. And its important and current standings regarding on its future plans.

My research project is on the Retama Library , also known as the Central Library. I am doing my research on the library because I am fascinated with its rich history. The Library was named after the La Retama club, a group of women who proposed for the library to be built. The Library was established in 1909. The library brought the city at the time new innovations of technology and lots of books. Different communities also held their meetings at the Retama library. Without this library I wouldn't be able to do the research I am doing right nor would anybody taking 1302.

An email has been sent out to the Central Library informing them on my project and asking to interview a librarian.

I went to the La Retama Library on Tuesday after school to do my research on the La Retama Library. I found newspapers and a speech that talked about its rich history . I am still in the process of reading these newspapers.
